Our armed security personnel are kept at the highest operational level through regular training and courses. Quarterly firearms training according to the specific requirements of our clients and the consolidation of already acquired skills with the service weapon are a matter of course for us. There are no compromises when it comes to our firearms training.
Pond Security Service deploys armed security professionals to effectively protect military installations, U.S. and German armed forces, U.S. consulates and embassies, and other high-risk facilities such as research facilities and their employees from terrorist attacks and other threats. Standard equipment for these highly trained specialists includes bulletproof vests, protective masks and advanced communications equipment. Through regular training and supervision, our armed personnel are kept at the highest level of readiness and awareness. It goes without saying that all armed security personnel are thoroughly vetted by the relevant authorities for their personal suitability, expertise and reliability.

We apply especially rigorous standards to our employees who guard military installations and other high-risk facilities with firearms. We test them thoroughly before their first assignment. It goes without saying that our armed security personnel also meet all regulatory requirements. They hold firearms certificates and have been vetted by the authorities for reliability and personal suitability. They also undergo regular training and have a high level of expertise within our company.
Maximum protection and safety for firearm carriers
All Pond Security Service firearm carriers meet the requirements of § 4 of the Weapons Act (WaffG).
Our highly trained security personnel with firearms meet all the requirements of Section 4 of the German Weapons Act (WaffG). According to this law, a firearms license is required:
- has reached the age of 18,
- has the necessary reliability and personal suitability,
- has demonstrated the necessary expertise,
- has demonstrated a need,
- when applying for a firearms license or a shooting permit, provide proof of liability insurance in the amount of 1 million euros - lump sum for personal injury and property damage.
